Osby Svetsverkstad AB (OSW) is a family-owned company that has been around since 1947. We build and assemble steel halls, primarily around Skåne, as well as perform various welding and construction work in our workshop in Osby. About the job

We are now looking for a person who will primarily work on assembling steel halls and other steel works we have produced, but also sheet metal details and some carpentry. Manufacturing may also be included in the tasks as we are a tight-knit team that helps each other where needed. Daily planning of jobs is also part of the tasks, so it is important that you are responsible and have an interest in the job as well as good organization. Most of the constructions we undertake are within such distance that you leave from and return to the workshop the same day. Of course, we have a collective agreement.

About the applicant

We are looking for someone who can work independently and enjoys planning and finding solutions to the challenges that may arise in the ongoing work. However, it is a requirement that you find it easy to work with others as most jobs are done together with colleagues. A positive customer approach is essential for us.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience in assembly, construction, sheet metal work, or a similar field

- Can work independently, responsibly, and versatilely, and is solution-focused

- Is unpretentious and helps where needed

- Keeps order and tidiness, can plan, and works quickly but accurately

- Finds it easy to work with others, as we often work together

- Is positive and brings energy and joy to the team

Requirements include a B driver's license and fluent Swedish in speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have licenses for hot work, mobile work platforms, forklift licenses, or similar.
